Your data

Privacy policy.

This notice describes the services actually used by this website. A German version is available at Datenschutz, a Dutch version at Privacyverklaring. Last updated: 17 August 2026.

2. Server log files and hosting

The website is hosted by STRATO. When you access the site, the hosting provider may process technical connection data such as the requested page, date and time, transferred data volume, referrer, browser, operating system and IP address in server log files. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider; it protects the data of this website’s visitors and prohibits any unauthorised disclosure to third parties.

This processing is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably and is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure, stable and technically correct operation of the website.

3. Cookies, local storage and fonts

This website sets no cookies, writes nothing to your browser’s local or session storage, and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. When you open the homepage, your browser’s preferred language is read once in order to direct you to the German, the English or the Dutch version. This information is neither stored nor analysed; you can switch languages at any time using the control in the header.

All typefaces are delivered from this website’s own server. No connection to Google Fonts or any other font service is established.

The only external content on the site is YouTube video, which is blocked until you press play (section 6). If the site’s functions change, this notice and any required consent mechanism must be updated accordingly.

4. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; if the enquiry concerns a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR also applies.

The data will be deleted once the enquiry has been conclusively handled, unless statutory retention requirements apply.

5. Setlist.fm

Concert and setlist information is retrieved by our server from setlist.fm, a service of setlist.fm GmbH, through its API, and stored in a cache file on our server for a few hours. The request is made by the server, not by your browser: no data about you is transmitted to setlist.fm, and visiting this website establishes no connection to that service.

If you follow a link to setlist.fm, its own privacy terms apply.

6. YouTube videos

YouTube videos are not connected automatically. Until you press a video’s play button, only a preview image stored on our own server is displayed. After you press play, content is loaded from YouTube using the privacy-enhanced domain youtube-nocookie.com. Your browser then establishes a connection to Google servers and transmits technical data including your IP address.

The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Loading occurs only following your active request under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

7. Audio player

The album player on the start page plays excerpts that are stored on this website’s own server and delivered by it. No third-party service is involved, nothing is embedded, and no consent is required. Your browser requests the audio file the same way it requests an image on the page; the request appears in the server log files described in section 2.

The complete album is available on Bandcamp. That is an ordinary external link (section 9).

8. Calendar files and directions

The calendar files (.ics) offered with concert dates are downloaded from this website’s own server. The “Directions” links open Google Maps in a new tab; no data is transmitted to Google before you click such a link.

9. External links

The website links to services including Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Wikipedia, Google Maps and setlist.fm. No data is transferred to these services merely because the links are displayed. Their respective privacy policies apply once you follow a link.

10. Your rights

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have the following rights:

  • access under Art. 15 GDPR;
  • rectification under Art. 16 GDPR;
  • erasure under Art. 17 GDPR;
  • restriction of processing under Art. 18 GDPR;
  • notification under Art. 19 GDPR;
  • data portability under Art. 20 GDPR;
  • withdrawal of consent under Art. 7(3) GDPR;
  • objection under Art. 21 GDPR;
  • complaint to a data protection supervisory authority under Art. 77 GDPR.

The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany. You may also contact the supervisory authority where you live. For access, rectification or erasure, a message to the email address given in section 1 is sufficient.

11. Right to object

Where we process personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – on this website this applies to the server log files in section 2 and to answering email enquiries in section 4 – you may object to that processing at any time with effect for the future, stating the grounds arising from your particular situation.

We will then stop the processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or unless the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. An objection in text form to the email address given in section 1 is sufficient. We do not carry out direct marketing.

12. Storage period

Personal data is stored only for as long as required for the relevant purpose or by statutory retention periods. Data processed on the basis of consent is retained until consent is withdrawn, unless another legal basis permits continued processing.

This page must be reviewed whenever hosting, embedded services, analytics or contact functions change.
